Max Homa Breaks PGA Tour's Longest Drive Record

Unlikely Powerhouse Emerges Victorious

Homa's Colossal Drive Stuns Kapalua

Max Homa has etched his name into the history books of the PGA Tour by shattering the record for the longest drive.

During the third round of The Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii, Homa unleashed a mammoth 477-yard drive on the seventh hole at Kapalua. This astonishing feat not only secured him the title of Tour's longest drive, but also bested the previous record by the narrowest of margins.

Davis Love III had held the record since 1983 with a 476-yard drive. Homa, who is not known for his exceptional power off the tee, defied expectations with his colossal strike.

The average drive on the seventh hole during Saturday's round was 406.3 yards, making Homa's achievement even more remarkable. This historic drive highlights the unpredictable nature of golf and the ability for any player to make a lasting impact.
